IBy "Damaging SSD" I was, indeed, refering to SSD Failure, I know Hard Drive eventually stop working but, I always try to save my files, install my softwares on my HDD instead of my SSD to reduce data writing. But if that's the way you view things, you may as well not even use your computer because there's constant reads/writes done to it. Unless you say that XIGNCODE damages your SSD because it adds reads / writes, you're fine. SSDs do have a failure point once there comes to a point of usually hundreds of terabytes written / read. Your storage device is not going to be "damaged" by XIGNCODE. XIGNCODE scans a lot of files which can increase storage read/writes.
I install all of my games to my "normal" Hard Drive though.
I'm not an expert on the matter, the only thing I don't want is my laptop SSD being damaged because of a dodgy software.
